PUI Blows...

Went to the mall just to hang out with my friend Marcus. When I arrived, they had "Pump It Up" set up for playing. Marcus had already played it before he was on the clock, but I got to be the second person to play it.

It is horrible. It's not just that it is hard for me to play. See, it's like trying to learn Korean when I was in the middle of learning Japanese. I say those two languages, because DDR is from Japan and I think PUI is the Korean version.

Anyway, where as DDR had simple left, right, up, down buttons. PUI has left-up diagonal, left-down diagonal, right-down diagonal, right-up diagonal, and center buttons. So it was really confusing trying to play.

Now, I know I should be happy for something more challenging, and one would say it is sad that I prefer something so simple as DDR. But that is not the reason I dislike PUI.

I think we got the newest version of PUI, but I don't care for the song selections. A lot of pretty songs, but none that really have a sound that makes me want to dance. And as I danced and watched others dance, the moves did not feel/look fluid or stylin. It wasn't sexy, just goofy. So I disliked that. The feel of the game is all wrong.

What it did have going for it though, was the High Definition screen it came with and the nice anime scenes in the back ground. I still miss DDR though. I really hope they get enough complaints they will replace PUI with DDR.

Heh, Marcus was working at the arcade when I came in, but his boss was there, and his boss's boss was there, and his boss's boss's boss was there. So he couldn't talk to me too much. Then they all went to the carosel on the other side of the mall. While I was talking to him, he needed to get something from the back room and told me to follow him. On the way back there, we both got this feeling in out minds and very slightly glanced over our shoulders and saw all three bosses. At the same time we both turned to "Carn Evil" and as I grabbed a gun he kneeled down to open the machine and said, "Was it this one?" I replied, "Yeah, it ate my quarters." So he gave me some credit and I started playing. As he shut the machine and stood up, he acted like he had just seen the three bosses and went, "Oh! Hey guys."

Man, we are good. Heh. I think maybe we are both NewTypes....

Also, I got a small pay check today. $99.12... Well... My average pay check is $150, so it isn't as bad, but still not much... Dang it, I am never going to get ahead. I really need a better job with more hours...

See, I want to move into the city and get an apartment with my friend Marcus. That way I wouldn't have to drive 25 minutes and use all that gas every time I have to go to work or see a friend...

Not to mention, I am trying to convince Marcus and my friend Ryan to be partners with me, get a loan or something, and but this empty building that has been unused for 10 years right next to the mall. I have a plan of what to do with it, and the other two like it... But how will we get the money we need and what can we do with my plan?

Costume update... I had to rip off all the metal to my arm because it contracted and I was unable to get my arm back in. Now I am going to try again with poster board cut outs. Maybe that will work a little bit more. Sucks that I threw away all that metal after all the cuts and gashes it gave me.

I still need to complete the collar. It is giving me a fuss. Doesn't want to come out like I planned... Sadly. Luckily, my mother said she would finish my pants for me, so that is good. And I got the bandana done, so that is out of the way... Just need to figure out what to do with the shoes now... And find gold spray paint for those poster board pieces... I have Sunday evening, then Tuesday-Thursday morning to get this thing done...

Next year... I hope the costume I picked out to make will not be so hard to do... It shouldn't be. I also have a summer project to work on, to add to my growing style and add a winter line to my style. Heh. Already bought the first pieces to my summer project. This shouldn't be too much of a hassle.

Manga search update... Still cannot find "Trigun Maximum Vol.1" and it is ticking me off. But I did pick up "Chrono Crusades Vol. 1" today. It's title was similar to the style of a game's title called "Chrono Trigger." Trigger is my favorite RPG game ever made, so I was wondering if this was based off of it. It isn't, but it was still a good choice.
