Olympics... O-Lame-pics

Okay, so I was watching some of the Olympic events at 2 in the morning for the past two days... The Olympics have really gotten stupid... I was watching women "Race-Walk". They were going to do that for almost two hours... It was pathetic... They power walked around a street and if they "got out of form" by slunching their back so forth, they got penalties... Walking... Come on!!

Then the next night... they had Pony Ballete or something... It was ridiculous! Some guy on a horse, making the horse walk funny in different ways, up and down... Pointless...

And now I just discoverd Table Tennis... aka PING-PONG, is an Olympic event... Do I need to make fun of this any further?

All I care about is gymnastics. It's the only thing that makes me go "Wow!" What those people do is incredible... Everything else is lame, and needs to end. Seriously... I am not even sure what all there is in the Olympics, but I am sure they aren't worth much... Archery I know is an event. That I would like to watch, but honestly... I don't think it is Olympic-esqu...

So this is what I have decided... If all these worthless events are going to take place and people get medals for them... Then By Serenity, Dance Dance Revolution should be made a freakin Olympic event too!! Seriously! Think about it... It has to be more entertaining, athletic, mentally/physically draining, and Olympic like than... Ping-Pong and Dumb Horse Tricks....

At this time, I would like to say no disrespect to the people who participate in those events or those who enjoy watching it... I know they take talent and training... But like I said... I love archery, but I don't think it belongs in the Olympics...

DDR though... That is where it is at! I know I don't have a chance getting on the team, but my teacher and friend Manic sure as heck does!

Oh, and the good news. Japan is in 5th place for total medals. USA is in first place... That's cool and all, but I cheer for Japan first, always.
