More Than I Can Handle?

Well... I'm in for it now. I have FOUR costumes to do in TWO months....

I decided to go ahead and do my Moonlight Knight. I was on the Cosplay.com Forums and in the thread for A-Kon. In there, there was a thread about a Sailor Moon Gathering. Basically they try to get a bunch of other CosPlayers cosplaying Sailor Moon characters to get together for photos.

I threw in my two cents, telling them I was going to do Moonlight Knight, but pushed it back. They said that sucked cause they've never seen anyone do him before and would have loved that.

Well... I am all for doing a costume no one has ever gotten to see before... So I am now working on him again. So, I will have to wear him the early part of the day they want to take the photos then change into my other costume I planned for that day.

Can I do this? I think I can. This is me we are talking about. I am just too sexy...

So... I bought some Purple Undergrounds for my car. For those of you who do not know that term, I have neon lights under my car. Took my friend and I 7 hours to get it all on and wired... At one point near the end I wanted to check to see if it worked... It didn't. So while he labored I tried to figure things out. Finally did, and realized we attatched a poistive wire to the wrong place and then they worked... 1:30 in the morning I took him home.

3 Days later and only getting to use them at night in the City once, I realize... The wires are hanging down and nearly touching the road... Apparently 1 am means "Let's use Duct Tape instead of the clamps." Cause Duct Tape was on the wires, apparently it was used to hold them up... So I got home from work and went to work putting the clamps that came on to my car and running the wires through...

2 hours later I got the last one set. I was lowering the car down the jack when suddenly, all my lights go off... So I run to the fuse box (cause other wise not all of them should have gone off)... Liquid was on my fuse box. Shorted it out... Apparently my winsheild wiper fluid's lid popped off and liquid poured out when it was on the jack... Now I need a new fuse box...

Crap...

On other new about my car. I now have a Large decal of the Intial D's AE-86's decal on my car. So does Maniac. We are going to start a new street racing team, minus the street racing... Like Initial D, we will be called Drifters. Unlike Initial D, we wont drift our cars... we'll just drift from place to place.... ::sigh:: I wish Sexy-ifing my car wasn't so expensive...

(If you want a CosPlay update... Too bad. I've been lazy and have not been doing anything. Mostly because I've had to work so much I've hadly hard time to come home and relax before getting to bed then waking up and doing it all over again.)

Work

I worked 45 hours this week and 39-43 next week... Exhausting when I am used to 17 hour weeks and I work all this time alone...

Messy Messy...

I've started work on making a sheath for my sword that goes with my Jin costume. Working with paper mache is really messy. I mean it is all over the place and icky. And you can only to one layer at a time, and each layer takes 24 hours to dry completely. (According to the website I went to to find out how to do it.) It also said I need at least 3 layers for any project. Since this will be against my waist for 12+ hours, I will need to make extra layers for strength.

I've yet to begin work on the top of the kimono. That will take me a while. I really wanted to avoid a lot of sewing this year, but it seems I just can't escape it. Oh well, it's all good. When I get it finished, I shall add the details to it. I need to get those skirts put together too. That shouldn't be hard at all really.

I've also made sure I can style my hair like Jin's. I just need some soft of gel that will keep my hair straight so it will look right all day long. Other than those things and getting a second sword, I am finished with Jin.

Haru, I now have the necklace for and and a few steps from being finished with the sword. I need to find a stuffed animal I can use as Plue's body. I have a styrofoam ball to use as the head. I still need to plan on what to do with his nose though. I also need to add 4 small details to my shirt and then to my shoes and I will be done with Haru, except for the final step. That will be spraying my hair silver, and I will have to wait until the morning of to do that. My hair will not look exactly like Haru's, but I am sure it will be acceptable. Heck, it has to be better looking than the attempts I've seen other CosPlayers try.

So close yet so far away. I have 2 and a half months left to get this all done. Plus I still need to loose weight, which shamefully I admit I have lost none of. But I plan on buying something that may help me out if I actually dedicate my self to working with it like it tells me I need to. Supposed to show results in 7 days too. So If I get it and do it every day, I will have 1 1/2 - 2 months to loose weight with it. Wish me luck my faithful minions.
